First class item
Toy Story 1:
Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):
Toy Story 2:
Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):
Toy Story 3:
Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):
Fazit:
I grew up with the first two in this trilogy and with the third movie, it grew up with me. Andy grew with me. I was his age for the first two and his age for the third, which I think they managed to do marvelously to captivate the audience that grew up with these movies and for a new generation to discover these gems. But if you're ordering this, you don't need me to tell you about how amazing the movies are, you want to hear about the product. Well first off, you're going to read a lot of mixed reviews about this, mainly the packaging. But let me tell you how it really is. It's, as you can see from the images, a western carriage with "stickers" on it. I love the western theme, but I would have liked if the stickers were relevant to the movie, as they are random. But all in all, it's a good sturdy box, that as soon as you look at it, makes you think of the beginning of the first movie, which is what I think Pixar is wanting you to do. But, the "stickers", some of them, have to do with Pixar movies. There is a Nemo sticker, Mater, and a couple space ones, for Buzz. There's also a snake one which I assume is for there's a snake in my boot. The other ones, may signify what Andy has done to this "toy" over the years as he's grown showing more of his personality outside the movie. Inside, you will find 10 discs carefully placed inside a foam guard. There are no crystal cases, which in some reviews I've read people have been angered by, but I much rather like this display, because I am one who is careful with my movies. However, this is something you may want to keep out of reach of children to prevent damage. It comes with, as it says, DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital copies, which I find awesome, I immediately put my digital copies on my ipod to find it's so crisp and clear, way clearer than any version I've seen before, in theaters, other DVDs, etc. I have no Blu-Ray player so this has me braced for the future. The bonus features are different than if you have the two disc special editions of Toy Story 1 & 2, but for the third one, you gain more special features. As I will post down below after this review. I have the separate discs, and this box set and am very happy with both. The box set I would consider more for collectors, but the regular discs are something different as well. Some will say the packaging is a weak attempt from Disney but it did not let this hardcore fan down. As well, if your a member of the fabulous Disney Rewards Club, the collection comes with THREE codes to help you upload the digital copies to itunes but as well as helps you redeem 125 points from EACH of the movies in the box to use for Disney Rewards.
In my review, I give this product 9/10.
And now, as promised, here are the special features you will get with these DVD's (from Amazon.com because Amazon.ca doesn't have a list of these)
