日本語字幕付きのものが品切れで高いために、
こちらを試しに買ってみました。
日本語字幕はなくても値段的にしょうが無いと思いましたが、有りました。
絶対に日本語字幕があるとは言えませんが、
日本語字幕付きがあまりにも高い時は期待せずに買ってもいいかと思います。
基本的な流れは本などで補って観れば字幕なしでも映像や音楽は楽しめます。
オペラ入門にもオススメです。

安さの理由は、ARTHAUSの他のBlu-rayディスクのトレイラー（予告編）が入っているためです。
安いので、内容はどうかと思っている方もおられるでしょうが、初心者から、オペラを見慣れた方まで鑑賞に堪えるすばらしいものです。
日本語字幕も少々出し方が分かりづらいですが、ついています。

TOSCAと見ただけで手に入れたけど．ほかにもある中の一枚に加わり心豊かです.映像を見るのも時には良いものです.目を見開いて音楽鑑賞も時には良いものだ.中身は皆様のお役にたつほどの解説力はありませんがそれなりに貴重な遺産だと思います.

ケースには日本語字幕の表記はないのですが、実際には収録されてました。
画質は良好、音質も野外にしては良好です。

プッチーニ：歌劇『トスカ』全曲

チェドリンスのトスカは今回華奢にもかかわらず演技に迫力があった。恋敵（と思い込んでいる女）の絵を踏みにじったり絵の具をぶっ掛けて汚したり。第２幕の拷問シーンでドレスの裾を引きながら悶える場面とか少し品がないかな。殺人シーンはケース表紙の凶悪犯（笑）ぽい感じに。いやいや、痩せたのかなシャープな美人になっていますよ。写真写りが悪いんでしょう。歌唱は勿論良い（ボチェッリと共演したメータ盤のＣＤで魅せられて今回もタイトルロールの彼女目当てで購入したわけだし）。フィナーレの身投げは天使像の頭上で十字架を高々掲げる美しい決めポーズで閉められ、余韻がイイ。
ライモンディのスカルピア、第１幕問題の巨大な絵が倒れる登場シーン、コマ送りにもなっており迫力がある。警察長官としての威厳を見せ付けながらもトスカを見る目つき、素晴らしい。
Ｍ・アルバレスのカヴァラドッシは情熱的な歌唱は良いんだけど結局最後までモミアゲが気になって仕方がなかった。第１幕に着ていた派手なベストといい伊達男気取りか？浮気を疑われてもしょうがないナ。
デ・アナ演出の舞台は、各幕ごとの出演者の衣装が刺繍を凝らした豪華でありながら嫌味にならない素晴らしい出来。きらめき。小道具類にも手抜きはみられません。サンタンジェロ城の天使を模ったと思われる巨大頭部像（いや胸像か？鞘を払った剣を構えてる？し）や大砲など野外劇場ならではの迫力。第３幕冒頭、巨大な剣を握った拳が動いたのはチョット驚いた。羊飼い、もとい魚釣りの少年カワイイ。しかし今回の最大の見せ場は「いけ、トスカ」のバック「テ・デウム」ではなかろうか？このほとんど一瞬のための巨大なセット、大勢のエキストラにその豪華な衣装。スカルピア自身の投影のようにも見える、ドラマの結末を予感させる髑髏のマスクをつけた聖職者。立体構造ショウケースのような中で展開されるその儀式。凄いインパクト。
屋外なのに意外と良く録音もできていると思う。
日本語字幕はありません。Blu-rayで廉価版（日本語字幕あり）が出ているようなのでそちらを購入すると良いかも。

No tengo que presentar esta popular ópera que se remonta por aquellos años donde a partir de el año 1476 cuando los romanos llegaron a la península Ibérica y a partir de ahí se extendieron por toda Europa pues bien esta ópera cuenta cómo era Roma en la edad antigua que todo el mundo lo sabe por lo que ha estudiado los libros bien pues la producción es fantástica el vestuario una maravilla y el reparto pues tenemos a Raimundi que es uno de los mejores barítonos italianos que ha dado Italia y el mundo luego además es un cielo de persona yo he tenido la suerte de coincidir con él porque al sitio donde yo iba a natación él llevaba a su hijo y su hijo y yo nos hicimos muy amigos cuando te echo de menos Rodrigo

The gripping drama of Tosca is well suited for this production performed in 2006 in the magnificent open-air Verona Arena. The cast elevates the emotion and singing to brilliant levels. The huge set, with subtle changes in various scenes in each act, enhances the already thrilling overall production. Fiorenza Cedolins is totally absorbing as Tosca. Marcelo Álvarez's Mario is reminiscent of Placido Domingo's performance in the 1992 production of Tosca. Ruggero Raimondi, baritone-bass, definitely owns the role of evil, conflicted Baron Scarpia; he also played the devilish baron in the 1992 worldwide live performance/film version, as well as in the 2001, 2004, and 2014 (an incredible performance at age 73!) live/film versions. Thoroughly enjoyable opera from beginning to fini!

This is an impressive and entertaining performance of this beloved Puccini opera and I'm very happy to have it added to my collection and in addition the quality of this HD recording is excellent.

It is evident as one watches that this was performed on a very warm summer evening in Verona; if one checks one discovers it was recorded on July 15, 2006. I am always impressed by the dedication exhibited by opera singers as they valiantly perform under what is on occasion rather difficult circumstances. Wearing those heavy costumes under lights on a warm summer evening at the Arena di Verona certainly qualifies as one of those occasions. In spite of these obstacles the entire cast turned in powerful performances that on occasion brought tears to my eyes.

A major contributor to the success of this recording is the camera work and the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The camera shoots much of the opera close up so as to make it difficult to remember it's being performed in an open air arena that seats 15,000. There are occasional shots of the Arena Di Verona that shows the size of the venue and the audience; I think it's a charming touch that the members of the audience are given candles to light.

During the performance the camera work focuses on the stage and the singers enabling the viewer to forget the size of the place and even imagine a theater setting; I found myself able to do that on several occasions.

The major feature of any opera for me is the music; I have delighted myself with beautifully sung opera on CD's and LP recordings for many years. One of the major advantages of surround sound is the immersion effect; one feels as if the music or action is happening all around the hearer. This DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 does an outstanding job of placing the listener on the stage in the middle of the action which I find rather appealing; if one has the volume loud enough, the first cannon shot could make one jump it seems so close by.

The audio is available in PCM stereo and DTS-HD Master Audio; the default seems to be the PCM stereo and one must manually select the DTS-HD option to get the surround sound. I tried both options and the surround version is clearly superior if you have the system required for playback.

The overall effect is of a grand evening at the grand opera hearing beautiful music effectively performed and at a price that is irresistible. I'm delighted with this addition to my opera library.

There are also a number of selections from several other Blu-ray recordings identified as "Trailers" on the main menu; these include a wide range of performances and styles from the Vienna Boys' Choir to Daniel Barenboim performing Chopin piano concertos via many opera and some ballet segments. All told there are 47 segments lasting over 140 minutes. The audio and video quality on those I've watched to date is very good although I'm still not a fan of Wagnerian opera in a contemporary setting.

Non mi dilungo nel recensire La Tosca.... sarebbe inutile e persino presuntuoso da parte mia.

Vi dico semplicemente che questo blu ray riprende uno splendido concerto svoltosi nella sempre emozionante Arena di Verona.... con costumi ed ambientazioni all'altezza.

Il blu ray??
Il video è eccellente.. Nonostante le riprese siano ambientate in notturna non c'è traccia di rumore, i colori sono molto belli ed i neri solidi e profondi.

L'audio ?? Se lo ascoltate in pcm 2.0 con le casse della TV perderete il 60% del coinvolgimento.

Ascoltatevi (se avete un impianto compatibile) la traccia multicanale in dts master audio: è davvero coinvolgente e (cosa non banale con tracce multicanale) è al contempo molto naturale, non essendo per nulla forzata negli effetti. Vi sembrerà di aver assistito dal vivo a questo splendido concerto.

Al prezzo a cui viene attualmente proposto (7 euro o giù di lì) è un vero affare da non farsi assolutamente sfuggire.
